Zipari, known for our industry-specific SaaS, is a company that exists because of, and not in spite of, major healthcare disruption. We came into being to quickly get three health plans up and live on the marketplace, in response to the significant healthcare policy changes of the 2010 Accountable Care Act legislature. CareFirst, a longstanding Zipari client, recently described their experience with the rapid and sweeping disruption of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Well before COVID, CareFirst had started to reorient their IT focus on to business and product outcomes and away from building and maintaining legacy systems in-house. They cite their Zipari partnership and platform as enabling them to stay on top of industry change efficiently. The COVID-19 crisis has brought only more change with new healthcare structures, policies, and a critical need to continue business operations and support members through this time.
